Wilsons fame surpassed that of the United States in 2014 when she landed a role as a character on Showtimes The Affair. In the show, she performed the role of Alison Lockhart who is a young, troubled girl with a dark past. Lockhart has a crush on a married Noah Solloway. In 2016, she starred in the film of horror I Am the Pretty Thing which is a house and played the cryptic PT Stella character in the 2017 sci-fi rom-com How to Talk to Girls in Parties. In addition to her horror credits Wilson is also set to appear in the British movie version of The Little Stranger. The supernatural thriller was inspired by a Sarah Waters' novel. Wilson will also be in charge of the production.
