Andrea Navedo was born 10 October 1977, in The Bronx New York United States. Navedo launched her career as an actress in soaps that aired on daytime television. From 1995 until 1997 she was a part of the cast as Linda Soto on the ABC soap drama One Life to Live. In 1999, she was Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. Her film debut came with a small part on the show in Girl 6 (1996) then starred in episodes of New York Undercover and The District. Navedo played with Double Take in 2001 and Washington Heights the next year. Navedo worked as a recurring actor in the NBC drama series Law & Order between 2001 between 2001 and 2004 as the role of Detective Ana Cordova.
